There is an allen-headed plug in a crank journal that you take out and find
lots of putty like sludge in. I have looked at it before but confess to
never have touched mine as I had it gone through by a dealer when I bought
it and they did mention that there was a fair amount of sludge there. Wasn't
cheap I remember so I have been doing the work myself ever since. You may
even have to pull the crank to do it right. Someone on the list is probably
more intimate with the procedure than I.

Hey Rich,
you mentioned the sludge trap. I read about that before on the list. Can
you give me an idea where to look for it next time the pan is down?
Thanks!!
