I got my 70 ambo back from the shop today. Over the past few months I had a guy completely go through it. The bike was mechanically sound (new cylinder sleeves good compression) but worse for the wear so I had it repainted chromed etc... (it looks amazing) I will post some pics as soon as I get them back. It has been years since I had even driven the bike. I went for a 50 mile drive this evening and everything was fine until I got the bike above sixty mph. It seemed to run and idle fine at lower speeds but on the highway it would bogg down. If I rolled the throttle back at sixty instead of accelerating it would actually just slow down slightly and not accelerate unless I gently rolled the throttle on. Is this common? I seems to me like it use to have alot more power at the upper end. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? Are the carbs missadjusted? I hope this is descriptive enough if not please let me know. Thanks for any help.
