tell me what accelerator pumps? I had the carbs apart( removed from the cyl as you suggested, worked well) anyway, I replaced the shutoff needle valves and enrichener valves. Did not see any accel pumps in there.
Jason, My 71 also ran rich and wanted to stall at idle. Too much fuel coming thru because of worn float needles.
That should not affect your high speed perf though.
