Try moving the rear brake part that activates the switch one spine up. Or you could just adjust the brake rod to take up the little bit of slack you have.

My break light stays on half of the time. The problem is the rear break pedal, if I lift it will go off most of the time. I am not sure how to fix the problem every thing seams to be put together correctly, is there a way to adjust it or is the switch possibly gone bad? Thanks for any advise.
