Fred,
just curious, does your Eldo have VHB29 carbs?

I think my Eldo has the V9 needle, and that it is also correct. Did you

put in NEW V5 needles?

To everyone on the list that has been helpful, thanks a million.
Turns out that although the idle, main, and needle jets were correct,
the needle was a V9 instead of V5. Put in the correct needle, and the
bike is running pretty good. Just for info, I ended up with the mixture
screws about 3 turns out.

Thursday I am going to the BMW National at Charleston, WV (about 250
miles), and then another 250 or so to Louisville for a concert, and 100
or so gettin home. So it should be a pretty good shake down, although I
still have the ugly tank on while I wait on MG Classics to finish and
ship my nice white one. Once I do get the tank back, I'll shoot some
pictures for the web site.

Thanks again for all the suggestions, you guys are great. See ya at
Mid-Ohio.
