Hi Brian, my only real dealings with a 74 is the one I sold David
Washburn...it was a very late 74 built police Eldo ...that might explain the
square light....it even had the boss on the heads for a T type exhaust...

 EldoMike,
I had a 4LS 1974 Eldo back in the '70's, and currently have a '74
disk-brake Eldo, and when I got them they both had round tail-lights.
Anyway, to hell with what's correct, the round ones look much better,
and definitely look more correct.

Hi Paul...I'm assuming you are talking about the taillight...square is
correct for most 1974's...I'll see if I can't get a closeup tomorrow of
my
frt brake switch for you...

So Loopers, what is correct for a 74 Eldo. Round or square? A square
one

came with the bike, so I assume it is the correct one but it doesn't
have a good base. I have a NOS square lens and a nicely powder coated
and complete round taillight. The other thing I need is a clear
picture

of where the front brake switch mounts for a disc brake setup.
