Not sure about the GVW cap of the frame but the brakes would surely
get a workout at that weight .
An 850 T or G5 etc should handle the load very easily. They are much
better equipped than a looper for modern roads and loads :-)) !

Cheers !

Hi,

My 15yr old son and I now have a combined weight of 400 pounds (he out
weighs me by about 40 pounds) and so I have stopped taking him for
trips two up on my Ambassador, assuming that the GVWR (or whatever it
is) is under 400 pounds. (I understand a Gold Wing has a GVWR of
about 400.)

I looked in my shop manual and in Guzziology, and find no mention.

Anybody have any idea what the carrying capacity of an Ambassador
is ?
