I just talked to Kev on the phone (Joe, yup, you're right it was Graf
that bit the dirt). He is at home and in reasonably good shape
considering. Seems like his face and hard head absorbed most of the
impact. Good thing he wasn't much on looks in the first place.

He says he doesn't remember what happened and there were no immediate
witnesses. He remembers leaving the track and then he woke up in the
hospital. Hell, maybe it was the tire. Luckily, no one else was involved.

He is trying figure out how to get his bike rebuilt before the fall
Michigan rally. It sounds like it is pretty screwed up. Kev said that the
rear fender brace went through the belt cover. I'd say that Mike, Mark
and Gordon will be hearing from him soon.

I'm glad I can joke about it. Be careful, guys!

I guesss that was Kevin Graff, vice his brother Kevin, that had the
mishap. I wonder if his rear tire let go? If you recall, he mounted
a
set of wide white walls, using a front tire on both the front &
rear. At
the Loop Get-Together, some were commenting on how little tread was
left
on his rear tire; he said they only had about 500 miles on them.

Praying for his speedy recovery,
