Try Paul's chrome plating in PA--1-800-245-8679. They did a tank for
me 2 years ago for $300. Excellent work, this was the second one they
did for me. Shipping for the tank and misc parts was $35. Mention that
you only want the knee panels polished.
Chrome don't get you home, but it sure looks nice against a new
paint job. I've had the discussion with lots of people who buy my decals
about stickers, etc for the tank panels and I don't think that there's
anything that you can stick on that will stretch to follow all the
contours you have in that area. To make a contact paper mask for
painting I had to cut little pieces out of it to make it lay flat.

I'm thinking of getting my tank rechromed and repainted and I'm hoping
someone in NY/NJ can recommend an outfit to do it.

Anyone around the Ft Lee NJ area?

Thanks!
