How easy will it be for me to arrive Sat and get a spot to set up the tent?
Sounds like it will be crowded.

Seems strange that the Barber website shows nothing about the AHRMA
event...from reading the AHRMA website looks like motel rooms will be non
existant.

Getting close to race time in Alabama. How are you preparations coming
along?

I am still planning on heading over but I will only be able to get away
on

Sat. Can you send me any info as to where you will be staying
so I might

 make reservation.

The bike is moving along, although at a slower pace than I had
hoped. I'm
at
the point where everything we do involves fabricating custom
pieces. Last
night we welded plates onto the frame for the rear sets. Today
I'm working
on
tying the linkage to the rear sets. Next, its off to the muffler shop to
bend
some tubing & make the 2 into 1 Tonti frame race exhaust fit onto the
Loopframe.
The frame mounted fairing is on & looks really cool. The Mikuni
carbs are
fitted & I finally found some velocity stacks for them so that birds &
small
rodents won't get sucked into the valve train. Still quite a bit of time
consuming
work to be done, but I'll make it. This race will be pretty much a shake
down
run for all the changes & give me an idea about what I need to address
over
 the winter.

I'll be camping at the track, arriving Thursday night 9/25.
Practice all
day
Friday 9/26, practice Saturday & Sunday morning with racing starting
around
noon both days. Track info & directions at.

I also plan on making the last race of the year the following
weekend at
Talladega GP track. Camping at the track again & pretty much the same
schedule,
practice all day Friday, practice Saturday & Sunday morning with racing
beginning around noon both days.
