I recently bought and installed the Harper's electronic ignition kit.
The kit comes with the actual electronic ignition module and magnet,
plus a new 3 ohm coil, and a full set of ignition parts, including
new spark plug wires and caps, distributor cap, and rotor.

Another poster to this list recently talked about how he had some
problems installing it, but I found that it fitted (almost) perfectly.
The "almost" is because of the following very minor nits:

1. rubber boots to slip over the ends of the high-voltage wires
were loose where they fit on the distributor, and very tight
where the high-voltage wire needed to pass through - I had to cut
off the narrow part of some of the boots.

2. The screw that held down my points was too large to fit through
the hole in the mounting plate for the electronic sensor/module.
It was trivial to drill the hole out a little bit, and I can't be
certain that the screw in my distributor is the stock size - a
previous owner might have stripped out the original screw hole
and replaced the screw with a larger one. The sensor/module plate
did fit *exactly* into the distributor, with no slop even without
the screw installed, so drilling out the hole made no difference
to the mechanical accuracy of the installation.

Once installed, I only had to move the distributor a tiny bit (less than
5 degrees, I'd guess) in order to time the bike for full advance
at whatever high RPM is needed to get full advance.

It took me a couple of hours to install, but that's because I
really took my time so I wouldn't screw anything up.
