*** I guess it fills in the pores. Cleaning is easier and more stain
resistant. Brush it on and wash it off. Any left on will leave a
whitish residue. I repeated the application and heat step a second
time....more the merrier I guess!
Do a search for "sodium silicate" on this site for more dicussions on

p.s. Mothers Mag cleaner for rough surfaced wheels is "B" not #2 as
