What it added was depth to the paint which in turn gave it more shine, but
you may not want that on a black Guzzi frame as it wont look original. But my
Cagiva was done 'arrest me' red, so it gave it a little more 'pop'. There are a
few different blacks, so be sure to talk to your coater about this prior to
the job. If you want it shiny they can give you that, or matte if that's what
you want. Just make sure you both know what you want. Get samples of the
powder. As far as 'orange peel', what very little was there, cleaned up with
polishing compound prior to couple of coats of wax I applied before reassembly.
