The bike is complete and original (21,000 miles).
Previous owner busted crank in drag race! I have an
850 Lemans crank or T-3 crank if needed, but would
rather go original. Sport rods are nice, but bearings
are shot. Other damage is to rear seal and 1 cylinder.
Please call me at 925-918-1860 if you can help.
Thanks!

I'll try to find you a crank. What else do you need?

Worst case, use an 850 crank and new Nikasil pistons
and cylinders for
an 850-T or the large ones for the G5/SP.

It's doable. If MI won't take it on, I might be
willing to.

 Greg,

I'd like nothing more than to fix it and ride on
the
California twisties, but I've been told that a
Sport
crank is impossible to find and are not remade.
Wanted to have Moto International work a T-3 crank
into it, but they just said that they nolonger
work on
Sport motors rebuilds because parts can't be
found.
 Very discouraging!!!

Sell it off whole. Cranks can be found, as I'm
sure

 you know. Or buy a
crank and fix it yourself. No need to hot-rod a
Sport.

I also used to be into Knuckleheads.

Welcome to the list.

By the way, I have a 1973 V7 Sport (all original

that

hotrod the motor OR sacrafice it and sell all
parts to

have a
