Hi Charlie,
I also have a set of the ss Rick Woods clamps and would love to see a
pix of how they are mounted. Not even close to being in a position to
use them on my Ambo restoration but would like to have a picture or two
for reference when the time comes.

The answer to the headpipe-to-frame clamp problem is to use the type
that clamps around the pipe and mounts to the 8mm bolt of the crashbar
lower mounting. Rick Woods made some s.s. reproductions for me and the
set on my '69 has worked well so far. I like them because they don't
mess up the paint on the frame and you can hardly notice them. I can
take some pics if you'd like.
