Subject: Carb Gas Leak Part II

Just got the Ambo together and running. All seems well except for 2
small (hopefully) issues:

1) The bike runs and idles good, but when it's on the sidestand with the
engine off and the fuel valves open, the right carb leaks gas pretty
steadily. If I put it on the center stand or start it, no leak.

2) After a pretty long run at around 70 mph, there was a good amount of
oil on the engine under the breather box and a slow drip from the drain
tube that runs from the box to the bottom of the bike. The drip stopped
after a few minutes. I had replaced the short hoses between the breather
and the crankcase, but I didn't put the clamps back on. I figured there
was no pressure in those lines, so the clamps weren't necessary.
Hopefull this will account for the oil on the top of the engine.

This is the first time I ran the bike and I had changed the oil before
the ride. If I over-filled it the crankcase, would the extra oil come
out through the breather then stop when it hits the right level, or do I
have another problem?

Thanks,
Donny
