Hi, all. I don't know if this is widely known
information or not, but it is easy to remove the rear
wheel by putting the bike on the centerstand and then
leaning it over onto the sidestand. I do this every
time I remove the rear wheel, and have never had any
problems with it. This is not my discovery - I read it
somewhere years ago.

John, I had my tranny out a little while ago and did
find it necessary to remove the front engine mount
bolt. I did everything I could to get it out without
removing the bolt, but to no avail - a few millimeters
short of success. Put a wheeled jack under the engine,
removing the bolt, then roll the engine as far forward
as you can and the tranny will come out nicely. I did
NOT have to remove the rear fender.
