John,
they are pretty simple operations.
Coil - just make sure it has a 3 ohm internal resistance across the primary side and that you hook up the polarity (+/-) correctly.
Regulator - Also simple. make sure you hook it up the same way it was to the old one. Maybe label before you take them off. The only thing to watch out for is to make sure you don't mix Marelli and Bosch systems.
Points - just watch out for the small items. I just replaced mine and it was easy pretty easy. don't forget to reset the point gap when you are done.
