Just bought a "new" parts hauler as a backup for my Audi Quattro. The Q
car has 300,000 miles on it now and is starting to have some small
problems now and then. So when a buddy offered me his '70 Mercedes 220D,
'72 280 parts car and 6 factory alloy wheels for $500, I couldn't
resist! The old diesel runs good and although slow is great fun to
drive. A neat addition to my pre-'75 vehicle fleet. Pics in my Yahoo
album "Other Toys"http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/amboman4
I'm sure it will get plenty of exercise hauling Ambo parts to the
painter, powdercoater, machine shop etc. in the coming months. Cheers,

Charlie

Airline employee...a little bit over ford employees.

Never used it though cuz I pay cash for my cars and drive used ones:(

I know we usually talk about the 2-wheeled variety here, but I thought I
would throw out an open offer if there are any Guzzi riders out there
that are thinking about buying a new car or truck. I work for Ford
Motor and I can give a limited number of "Friends and Family" discounts
out to people that are interested in buying or leasing a Ford Family
product (including Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Land Rover, Jaguar,
Volvo). Around Detroit these discounts are fairly common but I thought
there may be some Guzzists around the rest of the country that could
maybe benefit from this. The discounts can take anywhere from
$1500~$5000 off the base price depending on the vehicle.

If anyone is interested just send me an email directly. Oh yeah, no
comments about my last name and the fact that I work for Ford.

Thanks,
