OK...too cold to ride here in North GA...so I decided to spend a little time reflecting on my passion...Loops. I was wondering if some of you would like to offer a short anecdote as to how and when you became aware of Loops and your first aquisition.
Mine's a fairly new story, but started in 1971. A little bike shop in the basement of a grocery store in Madison Heights, Virginia opened up about then, selling Norton and Moto Guzzi. I buzzed in on my little 200cc Yamaha twin one day, and the owner offered me a demo ride on a new black Guzzi. I was highly impressed, never forgot it.
Couple months ago I expressed an interest to the list in a loopframe....Greg Field pointed me to a good one on eBay, did the deal, got it here, now fiddling with it to eliminate the hasn't-been-ridden-in-a-while gremlins, hoping to become an enthusiast.....Maybe some day I'll have some 150,000 miles tales to tell.
