Thanks Paul,
This is among the best kind of info on a list like this, I think. I
appreciate it. My son's building an old HD flattie and I got him the
book "What fits what" for Christmas. It lists all kind of alternate
applications for the older stuff that is fairly unobtainable.

I used to hang on the vintage VW list, also. They frequently offered
this kind of info. Witness all the old veewees out there sporting Ford
starter relays.

Purists be damned, there's usually something better than stock. Guzzi
rubber and plastic for example. Or dare I say Lucas? Or Harley inner cam
bearings. Older Gold Wing charging systems...blah, blah...

Anway, thanks for sharing the stuff that works. Especially when it saves
moolah.

PS -I've been down here over 20 years and it still amuses the hell out
of me to see palms decorated with holiday lights.

Sorenson Coil 24-5037
Sorenson Voltage Regulator 26-5002

These are what I got from Advance Auto to replace the orignal Bosch
regulator on my Eldo. The coil is the correct 3ohm required for our
systems. They both are working fine on Daisy right now. Don't remember
what I paid, but they were very cheap.
