Subject: Leaky carbs (VHB 29's)

Loopers: The carbs on both my loops (an Ambo & an Eldo) leak or perhaps
more accurately ooze a little, mainly from the float bowl nuts. I
tighten them periodically (they almost always seem to be able to be
tightened a little), but the oozing/leaks persist. Obviously I don't
want to overtighten.
I'm thinking this is inherent to the carbs, but maybe not--anyone know
of any remedies?
