loopers!
howdy! man, today was awesome! [over 60*f]. fired up the carb-sport. fired
up the 'zook. looked at the cal. II looked at the remains of the drive-train
for the ambo. had a beer or several. ahhhh, life is good!
actually, the cal. II is scattered all around. these tonti-frame bikes
are interresting. [never worked on one before]. well, anyway, the crank was
seized in the main bearings. it would NOT come loose, so i took it to the
local machine/engine shop genious, and of course, he is closed for a nice 4
day weekend. i am sure that it will be done just in time for some lovely
15*f weather [nope, no heat in the barn]. any of ya'll EVER heard of seized
main bearings? me either! rods looked perfect, as does the top-end. oh,
well!
Steve has the ambo engine case, jugs, heads, and trans. at his house for
bead-blasting. the plan is to have her done for the WNY rally, which is the
1st weekend of june. hopefully, see some of ya there! [wherEVER 'there' is
gonna be! Joe-do ya know, yet?] we are gonna steal 'peoples' choice from
Angie this year! [heeheehee!]
