What length are your Koni's and did you do anything to the front forks to
compensate for the extra length? Thanks.

I use a set of Konis from a LeMans 1000. They are longer than Ambo
length and give a bit more ground clearance. Work perfectly with
damping on 2, and I weigh 240. The Ikons should be identical to the
Konis.

Gee wiz..Tom didn't set up the Ambo I purchased from him that nicely!

Anyway I went with the Ikon's MG Cycle stocks. What swayed my
purchase,
is the ability to adjust the rebound on the shock. I have a set of
Works Shocks on a Bassa and adjusting compression is a $100 bill for
new
valves and rebuilding.

I like it at the lowest setting (#1 of 4) so it soaks up the rutty city
roads without jolting the back of this 220lb rider. I'll kick up the
preload with a passenger. Ask any northern snowmobiler about the need
to adjust your shock valving.
