John - all these parts have a great shine. Do you ever use a Clearcoat?

No. I've tried some spray can polyurethane once but found it turns
yellowish. I've had car rims clearcoated with powercoat 5 years ago
that still look great.

I currently like the final shine the Rolite AP300 (google search it)
provides. For the hub covers, rims, rear end, valve covers, pulley
cover, you need to sand out imperfections 150/220 grit. Wet sand with
400/600 wet/dry paper, then 1200/1500. Fire up the buffer for a 3600
rpm spin with the aluminum rouge then switch wheels for a spin with
white finish rouge. Top off with some Rolite.

By now spring time has arrived and it's time for riding.

Later,
JU
