Yeah, I also have most of the original receipts from the restoration.They
asked for them in the beginning. I think they thought I would have a hard
time providing them. I didn't. After I gave them the receipts they brushed
it off, they tried saying they did not matter, that they were regular
maintainance. I guess cylinders, pistons, ect. might be considered regular
main. every 30 yrs. or so????!!.......

Thanks. After my friend's bike got stolen and hearing your story - I
decided to get some decent coverage. I finally got renter's insurance that
covers my tools but now its on to the bikes. sorry to hear you're getting

I have also been saving reciepts in the hopes that if the value of the
beast was ever called into question I could always prove the sum of its
parts (although ins. doesn't cover burn marks, cut up fingers, or hours
spent pondering things like relays).
