Hi Roberto,
"The Lincoln Highway was America's first trans-continental highway"
according to this website:
http://www.ugcs.caltech.edu/~jlin/lincoln/by_state/
It mostly follows US30 across the Mid-West. There was a story in
American Motorcyclist about a trip west on it a few years ago also. I'd
like to stay off of the major highways and stick to the "old roads" in
an attempt to see more of the "real America", not just what's right off
of the next exit. Time isn't much of a factor for me as I'll have six
days to get there. Cheers,

Charlie

Hey, Charlie, I guess I better start making reservations. Where is that
Old
Lincoln Highway.... ? I feel pretty stupid not knowing about it....
