John,
A convert rear drive is much higher (even higher than 8/33 although I'm
unsure of the exact numbers) as well, however it might work with a V8
power plant.

Hi John,
According to Guzziology, the Cal 1100, Sport 1100 and Daytonas use a
8/33 gearset (many owners of these bikes complain of too tall gearing).
I'm not sure if they'll fit in a Loop case or not though. Cheers,

Does anyone know if there's a taller gearset that would interchange
with the stock ring and pinion set? My buddy building the flathead V-8
powered bike is using a loopframe 5-speed tranny and rear end and
figures he'll be turning about 3450 rpm at 60 mph, wants to bring the
rpms down a bit. Any ideas?
