I was sitting at a red light this morning when a yellow cab socked it to
me from the rear. The rear fender is trashed and the rim is dented.
The cabbie punted me about ten feet but I had the clutch in so I bounced
forward with the impact which minimized the damage. I have a sore back
but I kept the bike up and was not injured otherwise.
The nice lady passenger overheard some salty language before I spotted
her cowering in the back seat. The cab driver was not malicious or
intoxicated, just not paying attention.
Y'all be careful now, hear.
