Now that sucks! Do these guys have half a brain between them? A motor is
heavy, cardboard is flimsy! Hope they make it right with you.

Good luck.

well the bike shop who listed the engine packed it in a cardboard box
and it
got beat to hell in shipping. I called them yesterday and they are
going to
file a claim with useless ps, who will say it is not their problem,
since it
was not packed properly. the valve cover & oil pan was busted, the tach
drive was smashed along with the fluid filled oil gauge. All the
transmission studs were bent and broken off. I am going to try and see
if
the credit card company will stop payment, but I think it is to late.
They
stated on ebay as they were experienced in shipping. What a bunch of
idiots.
It does have a nice set of duel plug lemans 1 heads, which somehow did
not
get damaged

I just picked up a engine and am trying to figure out what is came out
of

originally. It was used in a race bike and has Lemans 1 duel plug
heads,

the alt has been removed and has a blank off plate. The numbers are VD
101336 I have read that the VD notes a T3 model but the numbers
supposed
to only be 5 digits. Does anyone know what this engine may be from

 Hey all,
I've tripped over three pieces of information in the last month that
you

 may all be familiar with, but here they are anyway;

1) Ambo used as backdrop in some GQ ad
2) Ambo featured in Rider magazine Motorcycle Collector department as
the "Original Breva"
3) MGNOC news reports opening of Aprilia/Moto Guzzi Flagship
Destination

store in Manhattan. Reportedly designed for "moto and fashion
enthusiasts on the move"

Like it or not, we may be moving uptown.
