Dave & All,
On a gorgeous first day of Spring we had our 2nd SWVA Guzzi breakfast/luncheon meet At Hales restaurant in Shawsville VA
We had 11 Guzzi folks, plus the president & several members of the Twin Valley Riders stopped by. Rob Prins had posted the gathering on their computer list.
I know we have Guzzi riders down in the true "Southwest Virginia", but we can't seem to get many of them to come out.Yesterday we had:
Andrew Culpepper from Dahlgren VA (near Fredericksburg)
Tom Farley from Ashland
Roger & Marilyn Davis from Petersburg
(Andrew, Tom, Roger & Marilyn all had a 4 hour or more ride on a brisk Saturday morning)
Pat Galbraith & Joe Kenny from Meadows of Dan
Lannis Selz form Spout Spring (right down the road from me, just East of Lynchburg)
David Phillips from Amherst
Rob & Samantha Prins (1 week newlyweds!!!) 10 minutes from Shawsville
Rob was hoping for a good showing of loops, so I rode my Eldo, but Lannis is still sorting his "new" Eldo out, & Pat rode her cut-down T3 so it was just Robs Ambo & my Eldo, 2 Jackals, an EV, a Centaro, a T-3 & 2 SPs
Next month's meet is April 17th, 11:30 AM, at the Millboro Springs Cafe, Millboro Springs VA on Rt. 39/42 West of the Goshen Pass, awesome riding country, if you've never been out there.
