Lannis, I would say not to be afraid to take the
DelOrto's apart. The seem very simple to me - I
actually like working on mine. If they are all nice
and clean INSIDE, then perhaps they just need some
adjusting on the OUTSIDE. First, while you ahve them
apart, I would move the needle to the highest
position. Then, if when they are back together, I
would check the idle mixture screw on the outside of
the carb - the screw without the spring on it. Turn it
out to enrichen the mixture. It will take some
fiddling with, but you may be able to solve your
problem there.
