Yup, there is a slight offset there. You can make a tool with some flat
barstock, and some bolts & washers. I might be able to send a photo tonight
of one to you if you really need it. I screwed with a wheel a bit ago.
I wasn't able to get the thing trued. I was able to obtain the offset, but
in trying to true the wheel the offset was lost everytime. I gave up and
took the thing to a pal of mine. He true it and it feels great on the bike.
Before my pal fixed what I screwed up it felt really screwy on the bike.
When he was truing it he did not bother with the offset. Didn't even ask
about it. I just figured that he has done more wheels than me so I wasn't
gonna worry about it. Slapped the skin back on and the wheel is great. I
never rechecked the offset after he was done with the wheel. The intial
measurment was only almost 1/16" with the hub offset to the right. I also
checked this against a few other wheels and all were the same, so I chalked
it up as it was allot better so don't worry and ride the thing.

Kev

Got a question here gentlemen. Are Moto Guzzi Ambo rims centered over the
hubs? I do not see any "offset" specs anywhere.....and I need to swap rims
with hubs. Hope this makes sense. Thanks, Brett
