On my Eldo with the sprung solo seat, I can't get my windshield QUITE
high enough to keep the wind from rattling the top of my helmet; need
another two inches of dead space. Don't want to drill more holes.
Has anybody got a couple feet of that "SAENG" edging, maybe some that
they tried and didn't like, or left over from some other project? The
stuff's expensive, so if someone's got some they'll part with for
less-than-new prices, let me know via Email.
Also, I need a small magnetic tank bag that'll go on my Eldo tank.
Bikes that you use for commuting and general use need all kinds of
little places to haul things like pressure gauges and extra gloves and
sunglass cases and the lunch box and moon pies, and I don't have any
bags or trunk yet, and might have a lot of riding to do before I get
some. My Centauro has a strap-on (plastic tank, see) tank bag but it's
a pain to take the mounting pad on and off and I need another for the
Eldo. Again, if you've got one you're not using that's in good useable
shape and will part with for a consideration, send me a note.
