I've used corprene (cork neoprene), been in there for several years.
Might be 1/16" thick if I remember correctly. Regular cork works well
also, but is a pain to punch the small holes in without falling apart.

 I know these are everyones favorite subject...

Has anyone been able to make gaskets that work for an extended period of
time (over a year?). If so, are you selling them? If none for sale,
could you tell me the material (viton?) and thickness?
