 Hi Les,
Fork mounted like a Wixom, Bates, etc. but does a better job in my
opinion. Doesn't seem to affect the handling adversely even in strong
crosswinds. Rain drops shoot forward behind the bubble! Mine attaches to
the headlight mounting bolts and to the top of the handlebar clamps with
"V" shaped brackets, the repros are the same I believe.

Strangely enough there are two different versions of the police fairing
- one for the deeper V700/early Ambassador headlight buckets and the
more common one for the later Ambos and Eldos (the repros are the later
style).

There's pics of my '69 with the "long-nose" early style here:

Thanks for the information on the faring Charlie. I looked at MG Cycle's
web site but they now list the mounting brackets as "no loner available";
I'll have to give them a call and see what the situation is.

I tried to look at the photos on the link you sent (actually from the link
on your web site for the larger photos); I'll have to wait until I can let
the computer run for awhile. After 10 minutes of downloading I had a narrow
band of a photo for a photo at the top of the page and for one at the bottom
of the page. I'd don't think my s-l-o-w dialup connection can handle those
babies. 8^()

Les
