The only problem I have herd with Chengs is using a tire that is not designed for the weight of the bike. I did have some belts come loose on a cheng barracuda on my BSA, but the tire was quite old

I've been using Ching Shen Marquis for over 10 years on a variety of bikes including the last 3 Guzzi's I've owned and have never had a problem with them.....got the most mileage out of them and really like the way they handle especially on wet roads and when pulling a Kwik Kamp trailer riding two-up. I don't consider them "CHEAP" tires but rather " Inexpensive"....just have to try them to know if you like them or not.....
