Hi Andy and all,
Good to see you again! "Got wet getting there" is an understatement! Six
hours of steady downpour with temps in the low 50s made Friday rather
unpleasant (I've got to find some truly waterproof riding gloves). The
sunshine finally came out at the NY border and Saturday was very nice.
Sunday's morning drizzle gave way to sunshine near Warren, PA and it
stayed that way until near Somerset, PA. Then after just a brief shower,
it was dry once again (but looked like it could rain any time). In all
750 miles for the weekend with the old Ambo running flawlessly as usual.

Good to see Bill and his copper colored Eldo again, meet Gil and check
out his Eldo and especially meet Frank with his very yellow Eldo. Hope
to post this one as "Loop of the Month" soon.

Get one of your Loops on the road Andy, and you won't have to get the
sportbike kinks out! See ya' somewhere, sometime down the road. Cheers,

really great to see old friends and meet some new ones this year, and
the
weather was perfect all weekend, altho many folks got wet getting there!
great to meet Gil, and see his super-nice '73 eldo [hope that gas cap is
venting now!] thanks Leon for bringing my 'gift' seat, and great to
visit
with you as always! sure do like that 'kermit' chair, man! sorry about
missing sunday breakfast, Charlie! worries about the sunday a.m. grey
skies
were groundless. we boogied hard all the way home, and it never did
rain-
hope it was dry for you as well! only one Canadian showed, which is
unusual,
but Hubert never misses this rally [he has the coolest eldo ever, eh,
Ian?]
has taken 2 days to get the sport-bike kinks out. man, i gotta get into
better shape!
see ya,
andy
