Brett,
Originally...the V700's had the SSI carbs on them. When they went to the
VHB's they had to modify the right side intake manifold to accomodate for
the bigger carb body. Therefore there are two different manifolds for the
Ambo/Eldos. Some were marked ("s" for sinestra - left / "d" for destra -
right) some were not marked but you could tell if you placed them on a
table. The right one had a little less curve.

Just a curious question here.....Am I missing something, or does the right
side carb on an Ambo have to tilt a bit to clear the tranny/"bell housing"?
