OTOH, colder air is more dense and therefore has more
oxygen per cc. I think you may be able to overcome
some of the coldbloodedness of your Eldo by moving the
carb slide needles up one notch - it worked on my
Ambo. The lurching when going from 1st to 2nd could be
flywheel effect, if you are not pausing between gears
to let the engine spin down, couldn't it?
