Hi Paul,
Come on over and hang out a while anyway. Don't let a problem like that
ruin your weekend. It would be good to see ya' again! Cheers,

Charlie
p.s. Bring the sunshine with you!

Oh well, looks like I won't be making it to the VA Rally after all. Went

to re-torque the heads today after putting new rings in 300 miles ago
(that's another story) and what do I find? The right side plug came out
in my hand with all the nice threads attached! Got one of those spark
plug repair kits from NAPA and found out that it's not just a matter of
running the tap thru the old hole like it says, but involves some
drilling out to the right size and then running the tap thru it. Well
looked around for a drill bit the right size and nobody has one! All are

either one size up or down from the right one. Tried with the one size
down and all I achieved was a nicely mushroomed hole that is totally
useless! So needless to say I am once again bikeless with a great rally
going on!!! I guess this will teach me for just cleaning things up and
putting the old girl back together without checking really good at what
the PO forgot to do. We were really looking forward to coming out there
and meeting more of you fine folk, but I guess it will have to wait till

another rally. Hopefully I can have things fixed correctly in time for
the Guzzi's in the Blue Ridge in August. :(
