Charlie,

Good running into you at the Mid Ohio....always good to see a familiar face.
Was nice to finally meet Mike Skaggs and the redhead too.

If I was smart I would have spent a lot of time checking all the serial
numbers of the Loops...however I was too busy going through the bins of
stuff looking for Loop stuff. Found some pretty good items. You find
anything?

So back to the grind at work...yuck! Looking forward to Caruso.

Ciao...Ian

Hi Greg and Ian,
Mine is A12212. Did you see the one in the swap meet area at VMD,
Ian? I can't remember exactly but it's serial no. was something
like A12172. Cheers,

Charlie.

Congrats Greg....sounds like you bought yourself one of those
"Rare Birds".
 My "A-Series" Ambo is serial # A12147.

I bought one of those V7-looking Ambassadors last night.

It's frame and engine are numbered A-12175, made December 1968,
according to the data plate.

It's cool-looking but it's gonna need everything before it's back on
the street. I hope I can keep up the enthusiasm for a complete resto.
Seems to be all there, though.

GF
