Charlie!
Yeah, that was me mudbogging! At one point, my daughter Kelly (15) and son Stephen (10) wanted to go over to see the "Rhett Rotten" show, so Kelly sat on the back, and Stephen sat on the luggage rack I bought at the West VA Rally, and I hauled them over. I figured that putt-ing through the field at 5 mph wouldn't kill any one....well, after fighting through the mud for about 1000 yards or so, I told them they better walk over.....the ole Bronze Eldo sure doesn't handle too well with a 75 lb kid on the luggage rack, especially in a foot of mud!!! In spite of the weather, we had a great time at VMD.
As for the PA Rally, I can't make that one. I organize a living history event at a nearby historical site that weekend, so I'll have to skip it. I'm not sure about any of the others that are coming up. My Eldo has been really getting a workout this year, I average about a hundred miles almost every day on it and it runs beautifully! I just wish I was racking up the all those miles going to Guzzi Rallys! Sooner or later, I'll run into you at one of the gatherings!
Take care,
Bill

Hi Bill,
Saw you several times but never managed to catch up with you to say
hello. Saturday I saw you "mud bogging" in the swap meet area on your
Eldo - lots of fun, eh? We'll see ya' somewhere down the road - are you
going to the PA Rally? Cheers,

 Greg & Brett,
Thanks, you have both been a big help!!! And no Brett, you weren't
being too elementary, better to be precise than to miss something. This
Guzzi site is the greatest thing since sliced bread! (and I mean
that!!!) Good ol' Charlie M. really turned me on to a great thing
here!!!!
Sorry I missed meeting some of you at Vintage MC Days, I intended to
ride over to the "Pizza Shack" meeting place, but was scheduled to test
ride a new BMW R1200 at 3:00. The test ride started a little late, then
while out, we got caught in a massive downpour. After riding through
it, the group leader stopped and said, "I think we'll head back
now"....so we rode through the storm again! I guess he didn't think we
were wet enough the first time through! Anyway, after getting back to
camp and wringing out my boots, gloves, and leather, it got to be close
to 5:00, so I just went on to auction. I guess I'll have to meet
everyone along the road somewhere or at VMD next year!
