Supply and demand dictate the price of everything. Perception also plays a
large part in the determination of value. What people percieve to be valuable is
valuable. We are living in recessionary times and are now playing in a world
economy. Look how inexpensive the many items from china are. Just take a look
at tools. Tools are less expensive than they were in the 70's. If you don't
plan on selling your Guzzi or making a living restoring them low prices are good
news in my opinion. Thats just more for me the way I see it, I dont want to
be priced out of the market. People that appreciate style and quality like us
should be rewarded with more bikes anyway! Let the fools who's tastes are
dictated by advertisements and superficial public opinion buy all the Jap bikes
and Harleys they want. I am always on the look out for and undervalued gem.
