Anyone ever put a set of Mikunis on a loop frame? Can't seem to find a
pair of Dellortos, keep getting out bid on ebay.
Bob
As much as I like the Dellortos, because of cost & availability I put
Mikuni
VM carbs on the loop racer. I bought brand new Mikunis for about half
the
cost of a used pair of Dellortos. Mike Rich has flow tested the Mikunis
&
Dellortos, he clams the Mikunis flow 2 cfm more than the same size
Dellortos. Most VM
Mikunis you find new are sold for 2 stroke applications, so you will
have to
re-jet them. Let me know if you decide to go this route, I can probably
get
you in the ball park on jetting.
