I bought a set a while back from MG Cycle a little while back. Gordon
told me before I bought them that they had received some complaints that
the shoes were a little too large to fit without some re-working. Sure
enough, I had to cut the linings down before they would fit. The shoes
are the same as the 4LS front brake set-up on the V7 Sport and late
Eldos. You should check with Gordon or Rick, maybe they have a better
solution now.

I'm not sure what your other options are. You might want to consider
sending everything out to Vintage Brake. I'm sure they could re-line your
shoes and fit everything up for perfect operation.

Can you use eldo shoes and cut them down? anybody got a spare
set of shoes?

You have to buy a set of T rear brake shoes. They are half the
width of
Ambo/Eldo rear shoes. The cush drive takes up half the width of the

wheel which dictated a narrower shoe.
