That is cool. Thanks for the info, Charlie.
I'll offer a couple of considerations when thinking about saddlebags.
1) the big ol' ammo cans are great for packing up the whole family, the
neighbors, a couple of cats and a sandwich. It's very easy to
overweight the bike with them, and that's a good thing if you like to
pack as much crap as I do.
2) DB bags are the best looking, and also huge.
3) the opposite philosophy- On my sport, I have detachable bags with a
handle. If I stay in a hotel, these are the best- instant suitcases.
So...it depends on what you want to do with travelling.
