Hi Lannis,
From what I remember the stock Guzzi damper attaches with a bracket that
clamps around the right frame downtube and on the other end bolts to the
bottom of the lower fork yoke. There's a little curved piece that fits
into the underside of the yoke and is held in place with a bolt from
above. The damper then bolts onto this piece from underneath.

I think there's a n.o.s. damper and little curved piece in all of my
stuff, but don't think I have the clamp part. I'll check and see, if
you're interested. Cheers,

Any advice as to whether your experience says that a steering damper
might solve this problem? And (if so) how it might mount to the bike?
