ummmmm-
duplicolor steel wheel silver for the frame, duplicolor metallic green for
the tin, with [again] duplicolor clear-coat for the tin. can't go wrong.
besides, Kermit is living in the san fran. area. just a thought.......

So....what else would someone do on a weekend than buy an Eldo and fix
another one.

Ed and I drove from Atlanta to Charlotte to pick up yet another Eldo (serial
number 50754)... (yes...this is my fifth!) and after getting back to his
place we pulled the engine on my grabby White Eldo and replaced the clutch
springs, plates and intermediate plate. Everything seems to be ok...will let
you all know about the fix over the week. Interesting to note....everything
looked good inside the clutch area with exception to the intermediate plate.
Definately showed signs of uneven engagement (ie...some areas really shiny
worn and others not at all as you went around the plate). I sure hope this
is the fix. I would like to use her for the run to MD.

As for my newest addition to the family. Cosmetically challenged but the
ol'girl ran well. Every seal will need to be replaced. Lots of rattlecan
painting to be done. May fool around with this one a bit. Of course I need
to get the Police bike done first.

Any thoughts about colours? I was thinking making a bike all
black...ala...Dave Otis' "Olive" but with a little darker side. I was
thinking that I would use a combination of flat and gloss black for contrast
with some components keeping their chrome shine. Maybe pinstripe with
silver? What y'all think?

OK...I need to win the lotto :-)

Hope y'all had a good weekend...Ian
