Hey Brad,

Most of those went on my old 69 Ambassdor that I sold a few years ago.
If you have an extra frame laying around let me know as I am always
looking for another. You can still use the same heads without a problem
and they usually don't get damaged when the motor seizes up. You can
bolt a T3 or G5 swing arm to a loopframe, as long as you use their rear
drives. The swing arms are 2mm or so shorter than a loops, but is still
usable. UPS will take the frame with no problem. I have shipped many
with them. You could use everything in the motor as it is and just
replace the crank, cylinders and pistons to turn it into an 850.

Hey Paul, I sold you stuff on ebay! from an old v-700 hope
those transplants are still going.
So I parted out another ambo and have a frame and engine w/matching
#'s. they ussually don't sell to high for the hassle it would be to
ship. So I'm thinkin I could start here on a sorta _slow_ hooligan
bike for my 16 yr old son. the engine is seized and I was just going
to unbolt conecting rods from the bottom and drop the whole upper
parts into the trash. the heads MIGHT be recoverable. then I would
bead blast the case before putting some new top end on. would I need
the 850 heads?how about the cam? can I put a 850 t3 or G5 swing arm
on a loop? i'd like the rear disk.
right now I'm watching a loopframe _disk brake_ fork & triple trees
on ebay, not sure if I'm ready to put out any $ on this project yet.
I need a cheap winter project just not sure if this will be it. thx, Brad
